We had a DDos threat in the waitingroom on IRC, he wanted an invite, we dont have invites he got angry and threatened us, 2 seconds later the servers went, I cant even get into them with putty, I have contacted the hosts so just a waiting game now.

Well we are with xervecom, usually when we go down i go straight to bitme.tv as they are on the same hosts, and if they are up, then i presume its just us, but i have just found out that 2 other trackers use xervecom and they are down as well, so it does look like its a host problem and the ddos threat was just coincedence (unless the DDos has disabled more than just BCG which i doubt).
its still just a waiting game atm though

Nice to see BCG back up. I just reread stoi's previous post and realized I jumped to conclusions. It's pretty hard for someone to launch a full-scale DDoS attack that can take the server down in so little time.

Bitgamer site and tracker is still down, been hours now which isn't like them. I know they are moving to gazelle so maybe that has something to do with it.

Just to be clear, our email service was not taken down. As you can see, the server is still up (obviously).
As of the moment, the site is actually still up, just not visible. This is why our IRC bot is still inviting to the channel.
Stop freaking out, we're not going anywhere. We're just moving to a better setup since the old one is broken (should have the hardware soon) and we'll be back up to speed.
