and the i.p will most likely be passed around between other site admins. u will then find urself banned in most other places too.

i wish it would be like that, sites cooperating with each other, weeding out those cheaters, but unfortunately its not like this, its more like every site on its own.

the best thing to do would be if a list of blacklisted ips was created who should be available publicly, at all times accessible to all the sites' staff, and permanently updated by them. it should go down like this: ip - site who banned it - reason of ban.

All I can tell you is that if a site offers a share credit to help you a user instead of just going by a file ratio why you want to cheat and risk being getting blacklisted in the torrent community.

This Share index/credit type thing that some sites are beginning to implement will help even the person with the slowest connection in the world to be a good member.

Also users have said in the past that leaving Utorrent running with 20 torrents only uses like 6000Kb which is not much at all as far as memory goes and if your not seeding you are only using very little bandwith thats unnoticeble when your on the internet.
