Whats The Best Firewall

ok Im reading a bit more and the test on black ice mentioned before was done on BI 2.5, I have a registered version of 3.6 so how does mine fare in comparison.
Echidna...which version did you test black Ice on that you concluded it is swiss cheese?

Yes I ran the 3.6.
Black Ice PC Protection not Defender with application protection
Defender is the older ver.
But it really don't matter just test it.
Let me add that I loved it and did'nt wanna get rid of it.
Oh well.

well I took the plunge and bought my very own Zone Alarm Pro for 50 bucks....it seems very stable and was not to difficult to configure stuff like internet voice conversations which other fw's are terrible with.

The best from me is Sygate,
I've been using it for 5 years, I have tried others but they are not as good.
It's very configurable and I've not had a problem at all.
The only thing I would say.... you can have a good firewall but when you use crap like AIM all you are doing is putting yourself at risk.
