Thread: Tv Out

    I have tried hooking my computer up to my tv so i can watch movies. but when i hook up the s cable to my video card then to my tv.(i use an adaptor cause my tv has no s cable jack) nothing happens. any help?

    make sure ur tv is set t the input ur comp is conected to, which im guesing will be the scart.
    also make sure ur tv out on your computer is turned on,
    not sure how, but with mine, i go into display properties > settings > advanced.
    then it is in there under displays.

    thx u much it worked but i cant get sound to come out my tv any way to do that?

    the s-video is only for videosignal, u will need a seperate cable for sound. if it is a scart adaoter u have, it will have plugs for auido, just jook ur pc up into it through that, itll work fine,
    the cable ul need will prob be a headphone socket to phono.

    i hooked up an audio jack but there is still no sound

    ah, i see, where is is plugged into, in pc and tv.

    yep its hooked up right but im not getting sound out of my tv

    where did u plug it into the tv?
    and where did u plug it on the pc?

    try plugging it into where ur speakers are plugged into
