They are just focusing on one side of file-sharing and one side of industry (Recording), but they forget that its just a portion of benfits of internet today.
Why would they shutdown the net, if lot big companies nowadays depend on the internet. They would just be wasting time and money monitoring each users who shares files on the internet.
Don't you get the feeling that the RIAA is just trying to see how for they can go just for the fun of it? Either that or they are just pure evil.
