There have been some quality women vocalists over the years.
Who have been your past and present favourites?
Mine are Annie Lennox,Chrissie Hynde,Skunk Anansie and presently i like Amy Lee from Evanescence.

Dolores O'Riordan, the lead vocalist of the cranberries has a great voice. especially on the mtv unplugged version of zombie.
also, Dido has to figure in the list, and possibly Gwen Stefani

Joni Mitchell, Beth Orton, Aimee Mann, and Sade. I like Nelly Furtado too, bust mostly because I think she's cute.
