Can you download more than one file at a time on bittorrent?
This may sound dumb but I only started with it yesterday.

I believe up to 8, though there is a new bittorent client HERE, that may allow more, though I haven't tried it yet.

the only problem is the client takes up so much ram!

i wouldn't sugguest trying to download two BT files at the same time. two reasons, it will lag/take alot of useage of your ram(slow it down) and two, the other file might not reach the same speeds as it much as it should.

if you have a super-fast computer and alot of ram, then this wouldn't brother you.

That seems to make sense at the moment.
Im d/l 2 files and everything has slowed right down.Ive a 1meg broadband connection but only 512k ram.
I think Ill cancel one now.Cheers lunatacs. B)
