    Already tried a different cd drive,that I know works.

    which xxxxx.dll (s) can it not load?

    to many to mention.

    All spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in my post's are intentional.

    Possible but unlikely: maybe worth a try, have you tried another OS installation disk maybe? Possible that it may have been corrupted, i.e scratched cd/dvd.

    Agreed.

    I burned a friend's XP corp edition disk, and even tho there wasn't a single scratch on the burned copy, the disk itself still had errors and fucked up everytime at around 50%.

    Looks like I got to this thread just too late. I had this exact same problem about a year ago with a comp of mine... and it turns out that it was a problem with the memory stick. Glad to see you got it working again though
