limewire d/l problem

hi, when i try to d/l something from limewire it shows 'disc problem' under the status tab. what does that mean? also when it displays all the files from the search window it shows the file type as mp3 but the coloured wmp 11 icon doesnt display anymore. i recently installed the new updated wmp11 as well.
