Converting Flac / Shn Audio Files to MP3

Does any one Dl'd much lossless music in Flac (Front Loaded Audio Compression ) or Shn ( Shorten ) format ? I'm looking for a decent program to convert these files which I have archived on DVD Audio to MP3 or lossy.
I plan on keeping my my archived files in lossless format , however mp3 is a much smaller file & I can fit a lot more on my portable MP3 player that I've hooked up to my stereo via an RCA plug. I can do a Google search but I'm asking because I'm looking for reviews , more than I'm looking for different models. I guess feedback from someone currently using a lossless to lossy program is much more valuable than an advertisement.

i use foobar2000 to convert...will need to dl lame seperate, but i also used to use dbpoweramp and it worked well.

I use Foobar as my playe for Flac, Sh & Mp3's. I was looking for a program to convet lossles (Flac & Shn ) to Mp3 and store al my MP3's on my external HD, also kep the Flac & Shn's for archiving on DVD's.

My 2 cents:

I use Nero Wave Editor from Nero6. You can add 3rd party codecs such as Mau Sau's and just put'em in the codec folder. It's never failed me yet. (Never heard of shn format though).

This is also what I use for converting. It's fast and easy. But the link I posted will give you info on how to play them as well as conversion info for Mac.

foobar will convert flac to mp3, just hight light the files in playlist, right click and choose "convert to".
