i've not read 'naked lunch' but i've seen Cronenberg's movie and it is the most unsettling, confusing thing i've ever seen

i've not read many novels (i read 'Snow Falling on Cedars' in school and recently read the short story 'Metamorphosis' by Franz Kafka)

i prefer bios, factual stuff.
