Would this make any difference?

I have quite an old TV in my room with my PS2, which doesnt have RCA input...Just RF, however the VCR I have here does have RCA so would it make any difference connecting the PS2 to the VCR with RCA and then from the VCR to the TV with RF? or would the quality be even a bit worse than connecting the PS2 straight to the TV with RF?

I also have a LifeView TV Tuner in my PC with RCA input...Would it be a better idea playing my PS2 through my PC monitor? If so, which is good TV Tuner software I could use?

The only problem I've ever found, is if your hooking your ps2 thru your vcr... that it can't play dvds. Other than that, it works perfectly fine.
