Hi Guys.
I am getting repeated requests for CHKDSK to run on every boot-up on Windoes XP.
I have searched the forum and found several suggestions, but no good. The one that I think may work is the following registry tweak:-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\BootExecute
but unfortunately, I dont have the BootExecute entry to modify in my system.
Incidentally, Chkdsk is only asking to check D: (Applications) and E: (Data) NOT the C: Drive.
Anysuggestions please?

Start > Run > cmd
chkdsk /x D:
chkdsk /x E:
then reboot.
