New World Movie Tomb Raider III (return)

It was revealed last April that Angelina Jolie might not be as done with the role of Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider film franchise as she had previously suggested.

"Paramount has optioned [Tomb Raider III] and Angelina has agreed to star in the third," Ian Livingstone, Eidos honcho and creator of Lara Croft, told the Daily Express at the time.

Now Livingstone says the project is inching forward at the studio. "There's a possibility -- we've been talking to Paramount, who've agreed to assign a scriptwriter," Livingstone recently revealed on The Eurogamer TV Show.

He added, "That's nowhere near the green-light process but it's a very healthy start to have a scriptwriter which they're going to pay serious amounts of money to write the first script."

this would be nice. i kinda liked the tomb raider films. i also think angie is hot. so, idk. it would be nice if the 3rd film had some more tomb raiderish action though. either way, i'll watch it.

I use to watch it because she was hot and it was an action movie, but I recently watched the second one and I just think...that they're silly now...

I'm really getting tired of some of these impossible stunts and lame ass storylines. This is probably why Hollywood has been tumbling down the hills...pffft...Not interested.

Would like to see this one. I hope they give this one a shot in the arm as far as storyline goes though, and not try to skate by merely on the success of the previous two.
