whats the brand of your vid card ? and what is the tv out socket ? SVIDEO ? or AV PLUGS.
svideo plugs kinda look like the ps2 ports, and tend to have better picture quality. the av plug is ok, but is very blury.

svideo quality is a tiny bit better, for movies and games its great, just dont try reading any writing :s ..
its good for movies if u wanna record to VHS. i dont think u need anything else exept a tv that supports svide, but u can buy converters for em.
