Why would you want to watch such a thing. Genuinely, why would you want to watch another man die, particularly in such a horrible manner.

How can you ever have seen to much for something like that not to affect you?

I've seen innocent people die, dozens of open air cremations, people dead and dying in the streets, and the aftermath of battles, so watching a murdering arsehole like Saddam being hung has no affect on me whatsoever.

BTW, I'm also against capital punishment, but for different reasons to you, there have been too many mistakes. In this case I'm 100% sure he deserved what he got, it's just a pity that those who funded and aided him got away with it.
