How To Unpack The Vice City Rip? Please Help

I have all the 124 + 2 files of the Gta Vice City rip from Dredwerkz. Can someone please tell me exactly how to get it running. I read the info that came with it, but it didn't help. And what programs are needed also.

Im quite new to all this too but here goes

First you need to rename all the *.gif files to *.zip files
Then unzip all of them (i found winace to be easiest)
Then you play around with all the folders untill you find something called unpack.exe or something like that
Eventually after playing around a lot you should come up with the *.exe file

Hopefully someone with a more technical mind than mine should be able to put a more detailed post up here

Do you mean the renamer and the gtafix. Those are the last two filenames. If this does work then i am only a small step away from getting it. I would rather work with winzip as well.

You need to use winace anyway coz once youve unzipped all the zip files you get a massive winace archive.

yeh the game works but not as good as i thought well cant hear intro scenes but you can put subtitles on
to see what their saying, there is addons for it and more will be on the way no doubt.
