BT Client: Azureus (Newest one)

Been seeding for a few weeks now the same files and all of a sudden I checked azureus and I started downloading the files all over again but with incredible speed.
File Size 665 MB - Downloaded 1GB ... etc. 5 files
What just happened? Does the client redownload the file after a certain amount of days of seeding a file? Or is this just a bug?

Edit anyways, i just deleted the torrents and opened them again and after the check they were seeding again and not downloading.

what type of files were they? if they were music files, you may have played them with a player like wmp or itunes, and it changed the tags on them.
