    Wow the Apple website sure knows how to show off a product, very cool. I want one now!

    EDIT:
    The 4GB iPhone will go out the door in the US as a Cingular exclusive for $499 on a two-year contract, 8GB for $599.
    Christ... a 500-600 dollar phone. Imagine losing it or something... I'd hate myself everytime I'd drop it.

    For only 4/8gb, too, plus its a 2-year contract. If you did lose/break it i wonder how much a new one would cost.

    With the monthly WiFi Edge or whatever Cingular calls it now, you can expect a nice fuckin' bill every month if you plan on using it's WiFi.

    It's sweet, but the price is crazy at this point. I just got a razor 8 months or so ago and I love it. It does everything I want it to. Plus, I wouldn't switch networks for a phone.

    That price is nothing new to the cellphone industry.

    Palm Treo cost that much when they came out.

    My Motorola Q cost $500 when it came out. I got mine for $200 and I've seen them for $100 after $100 rebate.
