Open 4 total connections to news.east.cox.net and/or news.west.cox.net (mix/match) and tell us if the speed with 4 is fast enough.

Oh, wow! That made it really fast. Now it's 240 KBps. Thanks for the tip.
If I pay for a news server will I get even faster speeds? And how fast are we talking?

asfdlq3i45poi if you pay to use a decent new server (giganews etc) then you should be able to max out your connection easily
