thats why it's melodic death metal. power metal requires power metal vocals and lyrics. CoB lyrics say die or blood every other word. power metal sings about fairies and frodo and dragons and kings. hence they gheyness, agreed. i just think CoB are above power metal and believe melodic death is a better description for them than power/speed.

Yes. Some of my favorite bands at the moment are Burzum, Sacramentum, Graveland, and Bathory.
I like 1 song by cradle of filth, 1 song by deicide, and a few songs by arch enemy.
