I always beurn movies with nerovision express, Ive never had a problem, but now I ahve these Verbatim DVD-Rs, that dont work. I can burn data on them, but not movies, when the disc is finished, this error comes up (Burn process failed at 16X). DO the discs not work with vob files?

    any help is appreciated thanks.

Use Nero InfoTool and click the Disc tab and tell us the Manufacturer ID of those DVD-Rs.

Nero burns almost anything, i think from what you say that you have tried to burn at 16x speed, i have tried this on pioneer burners and waste more discs than good, burn them at 8x speed should have no probs.

I don't burn movies with Nero. I use DVD Shrink to create an image file and then burn with DVD Decrypter.

I think many cases of bad burning at slow speeds can be attributed to some inherent problem with the media.
