It would appear that people who have been here for years, being part of a community and keeping the place going don't mean shit any more. The 20 post invite sharers are more important. Abusing other interweb communities is better than supporting our own.

Bottom line is: I think that there are too many people here at FST who think that they can get away with anything, just because they've been here for a long amount of time.
Just because they've been here for a long time, have a high post count, can speak perfect English apparently, they think that they are better than everyone else, and deserve special privileges.

I think you've got the bottom line bit wrong, btw. The bottom line is that some mods want respect, purely for having different coloured stars, from this 'elite' group of members with high post counts, who have been here a long time and can speak English perfectly -- but this group of members don't think they deserve any.
I think this much is abundantly clear.
Admin, mods, members and board owners alike only garner respect from people with even a modicum of intelligence via their words and actions, not by having pretty stars. Fact.
