If you want to stop Google from remembering your searches (and you have a google account, disable personalized/recent searches on their website). This is different than what you posted an image of, tho'.
But apparently, you're talking about autocomplete from IE or Mozilla. This website should show you how to delete recent autocomplete forms as well as to disable'em. Other ways of doing it that I know is using Ccleaner's feature then theres the old fashion way of pressing the "Delete" key when highlighting'em.
This help?

Open up Internet Explorer
Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete and turn it off
Well, if you're strictly talking about the autocomplete form, then this really doesn't apply. First, for Google to record you search history, you have to of had an account (gmail, presonalized home, or other features).
So: Sign in to Google>Click 'My Account'>Click 'Personalized Search'>Click 'Pause Settings' ; According to my account this is how its done. Good luck, but again this isn't for the autocomplete form.

I think using customizegoogle.com (plugin) to customize google, it claims to annonymize the user. Google caches all searches.. scary
Auto Complete setting works perfect for the above said prob.
