What do you do if you get invites?

Say you were given invites to give away from your favourite tracker. How do you decide who to give them too?

1. It the guy you give the invite to ends up with a bad ratio you would get booted?

2. Can you get banned for trading invites?

3. If you got an invite from a tracker that previously banned you for inactivity or a bad ratio will the invite still work?

4. What if you agree to trade invites but the guy was lying and didn't have the invite you wanted?

1. I doubt a tracker would ban you because you invited someone with a bad ratio.

2. If they find out you did then yes

3. Don't know, delete your cookies just in case and you will be fine

4.You're screwed

Probably if you consistently invited users who had bad ratios, they would strip you of invites and won't give you anymore

2. Can you get banned for trading invites?
Some sites prohibit trading, and some don't care. Better to read the rules regarding a certain site.

3. If you got an invite from a tracker that previously banned you for inactivity or a bad ratio will the invite still work?
Depends on your previous disable. If it were just for inactivity, it wouldn't matter. If it was for a bad ratio, some sites might ban your IP and you won't be able to access the site even with the invite.

4. What if you agree to trade invites but the guy was lying and didn't have the invite you wanted?
Try to get that invite banned.

Yes, most trackers have specific rules regarding invites.

Only trade and go first if you can risk not getting anything in return. On the other hand it's just an invite. If you have one, it's usually not that hard getting more of them.
