nope in a time you more than likely get a

    pc-chips all in 1 motherboard

    a crap web cam

    a shitty 60gb unbranded HDD

    unknown 52x CDRW

    a AMD 2000+xp

    and 512mb DDR 266DDR

and a case that will not let you upgrade

    for about £1000 $14000

as above would cost you from a Indipendant PC shop

would set you back Under £300 $450

m8 Time says Look at the free software you get too !!!

lol thats where the other £700 has gone into just that your buying that free software thats crap

Don't be a muppet build your own and save £100's

Even when they give you a 'decent' (on paper) PC, there after sales are crap and it takes months to get their PC (which never works properly to start with) fixed.

There used to be two name to avoid in the UK: Tiny and Time.

Now they've merged to form 'The Computer World' (Formerly The Computer Store)

I would rather go to PC World...........and im NOT advising that either

I would advise you to get the mags and read the write ups if you want to buy a complete system....its a lot of money to fork out if you dont know what your looking for.

EDIT: If your determined to get a Time machine, then the Powerstation XL is under 800 until 9th June (well, to the 1st 1000 people that want one anyway)

On paper it looks excellent value.........but as i said, i wouldnt get a Time Machine.

Hmm. I would tend to disagree there. A good retailer, with its buying power, can build cheaper systems.

Try www.simply.co.uk . It's got an excellent industry reputation. I've bought from them and highly recommend them for product knowledge and after sales.

Yes, i now what you are saying; PC World build crap systems. Thing is though, noone suggested otherwise.

I would rather go to PC World...........and im NOT advising that either
Rat Faced joked that he would even rather go to PC World before "The Computer World". In other words, they're both crap.

now what was that again a bigger store gets stuff cheaper ?
    No. What i said was:-

A good retailer, with its buying power, can build cheaper systems.
SO.... Retailer does not equal store, nor PC World.

Please, at least read before you flame

I stand by what i said.
