I mean, I, for one, will not keep torrenting until I'm like 30 or something... after a while real life stuff takes over and becomes more important anyway, and then you have to step out. Unless you're a total geek and are married to your computer of course... (no offence to the last kind of people

I'm not sure as to his reasons but I disagree with your reasons as to why people would quit (at least they aren't applicable to me). I am married, a full-time student, and work. I don't spend a lot of time trading but I think I'll always be in the torrent or other p2p community since I'll always need the benefits, shall we say, that it affords. Unless I win the lottery

Ok, but I mean when you have a wife, kids, a job, a house, hobby's, etc. you download from BT to have the material rather than to be part of a community. Isn't real life (always) more important than this?

My point was: once you have sct or wathever tracker you aim for there is no reason to keep trading sites you dont need. People trade to climb up the ladder and get the best sites out there. Once youve seen it all and reached your goals you can give out all the lower class trackers or trackers you just dont use. Aint it fun to see people fight over things you dont need ?
