Please do not give rep prior to receiving an invite.

Once the invite has been sent and your registration is successful, then give a rep point for a successful, complete trade.

Yeah i suppose that sometimes it is better to give invites without expecting a rep in return but since it is your invites it is your condition after all.

The point in rep is to verify a good, successful trade. You wouldn't want to give rep and then find out the invite is bunk and you were scammed, all the while this person is looking like a "trusted trader" with positive rep.
