From reading around most of us will likely need a new media player too.I have vlc and windows media but i dont think either can handle it.Everything i read says use Mplayer.I'm gonna download that prison break that i just got done watching and compare. Also check out the speed while im at it.
u nedd to install klmcodec or install real player
and that should help
You can use the last codecs K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 1.65
yep that should work too
i have: ffdshow+klmc and its fine
what do they have? do they specialize? ar they a 0day tracker?
As the name impies, they specialise in rmv encoded stuff.
TV shows, movies etc... all tend to be in a smaller file size when encoded in rmv (sacrificing a little on quality).
Just finished the prison break download and the highest speed i got was 220 kB/s and that was only during that last minute of the download, during the rest it never got over 130 kB/s with 45 seeders and only 5 leechers. My internet connection is 5mb down and 256 upload.
I installed klmcp and used media player classic to compare the rmvb to the x264 version i got off of TL the rmvb version seems blurry to me but it is 800MB less in file size so if you don't mind lower quality i guess this is for you.
I have a dell 17in lcd monitor and a nvidia 6800 video card using dhzeropoint 92.91 drivers.
