Weird eye

Every now and then I get what appears to be a fractal pattern appear in my eyesight,have been told it's a form of migraine.
Its bloody annoying,but quite pretty,no pain with it,but I can't figure what triggers it?
Anyone else have the same problem?
When its at its worse I can only see stuff in my peripheral vision everything straight in front becomes obscured by the pattern.

I used to get that a lot when I was in school. Figured it may have been the stupidly bright neon striplights they had everywhere. When it came on really bad, I had to hold onto my pals bag or hand to lead me to where I was going.

Do get it still sometimes, but I try to live in the dark these days.
Plus I don't smoke as much weed.

Yeah I get migraines and sometimes with strange visual effects.

If it's new for you then go see a doctor.

it's called a scintillating scotoma. I got those a few times when I was pregnant and it freaked me out. My eye dr. assured me all was fine. It's definitely a weird visual and takes about 1/2 hour to go away. It's caused by a spasm in a blood vessel in your eye.

Its also caused by high colesterol - little pieces of which are passing through the blood vessels of your eye --- maybe worth getting your levels checked.
