    ok
    Here's the deal
Sygate Pro5.0 Keeps blocking kernal32.dll from accessing the internet.
I've marked it allow after blocking it at first by mistake but sygate continues to block it!
It seems this file is essential for some things to work like windows update and others.
    What am I doing wrong
    What do I do?

Duties are not performed for duty's sake, but because their neglect would make the man uncomfortable. A man performs but one duty - the duty of contenting his spirit, the duty of making himself agreeable to himself.

    Yeah
Never saw this in Black Ice or ZAP.
After installing Sygate pro, I saw it(kernal32.exe) go to connect and my immediate reaction was to block it!
I removed it rom the list and it still blocks it.
When I open the sygate main window it shows it there as an application.
I have to allow all traffic now to get windows update connected.
    What did I do wrong?

You did not do anything wrong. i had the same prob. with sygate pro. you could not get any updates with sygate up. i think it is a bug. i went to norton firewall and dont have any problems anymore.
