as long as theres enough sources, I usually get in the 180 - 200Kbs range. The highest I have ever gotten was 390Kbps for about 5 seconds! I have a 1.5Mb download/128Kbs upload cable connection!

my highest was 5kbs, And i must say i was very lucky to get that.
Cuz im stuck with 56k dail up

im conectyed @ 256kbps...... with ADSL.... but sometimes i get dl speeds of over 35KB/sec...... aint that weird.......

On KL it was 190Kbps I was amazed, I have a 1.5Mb dl/ 128 up and on a ramdom download from a site it has gotted upto 700kbps

I have driven a car, on a motorway, at 135 mph. That was using a calibrated accurate speedometer.
Most over state the speed by 10%. It gives car makers a margin of error, so that you can't blame them for speeding.
Having said that I was in rather a hurry at the time.
I assume the question related to me being in control. If it did not then travelling in a plane is probably my fastest ever speed. I'm not sure the max speed it reached, but I can try to find out if it would help. Please let me know.
If however you are talking relativistically, then you will have to let me know which point in space/time to use as my point of reference.
