I'm new to file sharing and I've only downloaded 2 torrents.
I would be gratefull for any info regarding downloading NZB, or anything to do with file sharing ?
Can you get viruses from downloading torrents?
Is Winrar 330 ok for rar files?

As for your other questions,
Yes you can get viruses from torrents. Which is why you install a good antivirus and you use your common sense when downloading. Dont go downloading random files for the hell of it.
And winrar is a very good program for dealing with rar files.

I gather from the links above.the software for NZB file is Grabit.
Is this correct ?
And is it easy to confgure ?
I have downloaded winrar 330, will this deal with the files from the newsgroups ?

Grabit is a good program to start out with. There are others but this one is free. And yes, its easy to configure.
Winrar will get the job done with rar files. Also, you will deal with .par files when using newsgroups. So get a program called QuickPar. Its also free.
