Start>Run>enter "regedit"> in the lefthand window go to HKEY CURRENT USER>Control Panel>Desktop>in the R/H window find "AutoEndTasks">double click and change the value from "0" to "1".

Might work and won't hurt.

could be video card drivers in that case.

Or maybe need a stronger power supply.

yeh guys sorry about that, yeh its new behaviour but i have had it for a long time if tht makes sense, in that it never used to happen. Yeh and its the windows shutdown blue if tht helps.

What did you install just before that?

cant remember exactly its been happening for a long time, all i know is it only happens when i leave my PC on for a long period of time. Sorry for the lack of information.
