    Recently had a problem with my monitor where it went black and "Input not supported" floated round the screen,resolved it by turning my refresh rate down to 60 hz.
    Seems LCD screens don't like high refresh rates.
    Just thought it might help some others.

    ya, my lcd at it's native res only does 60 or 75hz.

    Try updating your drivers.

    from what i here lcd screens dont like anything but what they are made for ie if you plugged a HD lcd screen into a standerd cable box it would look like hell :./
