An Italian court has ordered 26 US intelligence agents to stand trial over the alleged abduction of an Egyptian imam. At last we have a country that has the guts to stand against the underhand methods of the CIA. I hope more follow suit.

It's not often you see "Italy" and "guts" in the same sentence

I understand they have recently fitted reverse lights to their armoured vehicles.

All I can see here is the Italian agents being put "against the wall". The American agents may be tried in their absence, but I doubt they would attend or the US would co-operate.

it’s an election with no Democrats, in one of the whitest states in the union, where rich candidates pay $35 for your votes. Or, as Republicans call it, their vision for the future.

    You are probably right.

Which would just demonstrate to the world exactly what the US thinks of international law and cooperation.
