All the IMAX showings around me are sold out for the next few days. Though I've already seen it at the standard theatres I'm going to go again to watch it at an IMAX. The movie is just that amazing. A cam would just ruin the movie experience for 300. The style is distint from that of Sin city and makes the movie even better.

Tickets sold out + 18A rated couldn't stop me.

Just had to find a nearby cineplex and sneak in.

The movie was awesome tho, well worth the risk.

I saw this in an IMAX also and the people there clapped as well. I don't think I've ever heard people clap after a movie.

...and yes, this movie is amazing.

fighting the "asian hordes",& "this is the day that a new age begins, when reason replaces magic and mysticism" - does the implicit racism of greece/militant classicism vs. a religiously motivated persia(modern day iran) not bother anyone else?

No it's just a bloody film, stop reading stuff into it and enjoy the film,or don't bother going if you're gonna pick it to pieces.
To me a film is good or bad, funny or sad, there is no hidden message.

All spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in my post's are intentional.

It's the same back then as it is today. Religions against religions, governments against governments, the two against each other... what else would it be about?

1000 years into the future and it will still be the same.
