    Hello!

When I go to My Computer (the folder in windows) it shows that I have a floppy drive, under "Devices with Removable Storage".
The thing is, I don't have a physical floppy drive installed in my computer.

Also, each time I want to shut down Windows it shows an error. I don't know the exact error message, but it says something that Windows can't shut down Drive A (this is how he imaginary floppy drive is named in My Computer) and I get 3 options: Cancel, Try Again and Abort. None of the optionswork and I have to cut off the power to be able to shut down the computer.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Disable the floppy controller in your BIOS.

Go into the Device Manager and remove Floppy Disk Controllers and Floppy Disk Drives (if any exist).
