    ..still, why put this topic under file-sharing, wouldn't it be better in the software forum?
    Your reasoning baffles me Then you have the FST love Smilie in the Bittorrent forum.. all seems logical to me...

    WMP for mp3's
    cyberlink Power DVD for dvd's
    and mplayer in *nix

    I use VLC, best for AVI on a mac but all other video formats I play straight out of itunes along with my music

    I use winamp for audio and media player classic for all videos files and dvds.
