I meant something like having my post changed from "experts" (not to be taken too serious) into experts (wow, these guys know a lot!

I had a 600 Mhz celeron running windows 98se. It had a 128 mb and a 512 mb chip installed. I just added the 512 mb card into the next avaible slot. It worked fine. Now that same computer is running XP home with no problems. If I had to guess I would think that you had a problem with you BIOS or maybe even with something else on your motherboard. I hate to say this but try reading the manual and going to the website or calling the guys who made the computer. You won't be any less of a man if you do so
