I remember long time ago i didn't install SP2 because of the bugs and gizmos and what not but i finally did today. Is there any tweaks or what not i can do on SP2? And is there anyway to disable Windows Security Center? It's always popping up because i'm not using Windows Firewall or i'm not turning on Automatic Update. Thanks

    start>control panel>administrative tools>services
find Security Center, right click>properties. turn startup type to manual.

you can do the same with any other program that is bugging you,

You should allow more connection attempts, it helps with P2P:

for a computer that does not connect to the internet, what are the advantages to sp2?

i have xpsp1 and i rarely get crashes, and it's fast as f*ck. did they sneak some drm or related features into sp2? how does sp2 get along with normal apps like virtual dub, gaim, nero6, media player classic, ect...
