Thread: Printing E-books

  1. #1
I've read many e-books, starring at my monitor for hours at a time.
Lately though, it has become ever more of an annoyance to not be able to read them as a normal book.
ie. in bed, sofa, etc. on the road/hotels/car..etc

I have a printer, and was wondering how many pages would I need to print out an average sized book?

Also, how many pages would you say an average printer can print before it needs an ink replacement?

Has anyone even tried printing out a book?

    Thanks.

Also - what program is the easiest on the eyes to read ebooks?
Are there any monitor settings that help?
    Anything? What do you use?

You could try connecting the computer to the TV with a tv-out on your graphic card. That way you could lay down on the couch and read.. In any position!

PDA - I would if I could. Money is tight at the moment

Tv -out - True, but my couch is somewhat not close to my tv, and I think that I might strain my eyes even more at that distance.

Printing books out at work - exactly what I was thinking.

But I'm still wondering how many pages an average sized book would be on printing paper..
    Anyone know?
