I'm seriously baffled to not find a post about ReGenesis here. ReGenesis is truly a spectacular intelligent drama. Two seasons through, and they've signed for a thrid!
This show really hasn't seen the hype it deserves, as I don't think it's aired in Europe at all, but I highly recommend it to everyone!
On the Peripheral
I didn't think it was shown in the US.
things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

It's more like a suspense drama, like Lost, just not boring.
It follows a team of scientists at a lab called NorBAC ( The North American Bio- somthin-er-another ) who are charged with finding solutions to new viruses, bio-terrorism, and questionable advances in biotechnology.
It's really hard to explain because it sounds dull in writing, but the show is FAR from dull. The lead character is a womanizing alcoholic father at home, and brilliant bio-chemist at work. The character development in the show is excellent as well, you really feel like you know the characters, much like in Firefly.
My suggestion is to download just the first two episodes and take your own perspective from it, I doubt you will be disappointed.

I really enjoy ReGenesis and, since it will probably never be shown in America, I relied on downloading it in order to see it. It's a shame that such good quality TV never sees the light of day here.
