    Surprised/Amazed

after use, it settles in the jar... and it never used to do that.

I am sure it's not due to global warming.

So if it's not due global-warming, what is the cause and what should I do?

This is what is should look like..and do..this is now impossible..

Has any one else noticed their Marmite behaving strangely?

Try storing it somewhere warmer so it spreads more easily

Never noticed if Marmite settles or not after I open it.
I plan on beating him to death with his kids. I'll use them as a bludgeon on his face. -

when the jar is less full it does look a bit manky sometimes, yeah putting it in a warm place might help, but try not to spread too much of it on the toast because the high amount of salt will make you very thirsty.

The point is, Marmite never used to find it's own level..one gouged out dollops of Marmite leaving deep impressions in it, and now..it settles leaving no trace of earlier consumptions...
I found this article on Marmite,

I also noticed my Marmite is not made in the UK

I am sure it was made in Burton On Trent when I was a kid...

i understand now, but i've always known marmite to find its own level after use. all Marmite must be made to the same recipe i think.

Maybe Biggles could help us on this one... I am sure he must have consumed some, back in the 20's However, I am refering to the the 1950-70's era, the period I spent living in England...

you're right, i just googled marmite changed recipe and found this: http://www.alekhayes.com/squeezy-marmite/

because it was now dripping off the knife rather than sticking nicely.

See!! Thank youAlien5 for showing patience with what at first seemed to be the insignificant rantings of a Marmite Lover, who today even finds himself posting in Rossco's, perpetual thread...

.now, I don't want to bring this subject back up, but could this be the latest attempt by the forbidden and exiled Bologaise Lovers' Group; to create a sort of "smokescreen," as they once more try to gain foot in the lounge or something more sinister?
