This may be something directly related to your previous questioon about processes running in the background. Depending on your write speed it should not take more than 15 minutes I would assume. I burn at 16X and I can burn a single layer in around 7 minutes. Nreo has been known to have error issues. I have noticed Nero errors out if I have too much crap going on at the same time. But when it does, I usually have a crap load of stuff running at the same time.

same here, 15 min or so, using Nero.

but, Nero eats up memory. check your task manager.

shut down programs you aren't using when attempting to burn.

Yea, it takes me about 13 minutes with 4x since i don't like to risk a coaster burning @ higher speeds. It may have to do with background apps. Try burning with nothing but the burning program.

I was going to say 11 inches, then decided to read the first post.. It all depends what sort of DVD disk you use too.. on mine the -R seem to take longer than the +R

i don't know what the question at hand is asking really. it takes me 6.5 mins for a data dvd, but it takes anywhere between 105-120 mins to burn a dvd. which consists of converting then burning a high quality dvd.
