I just use notepad or Context(simple text editors) to make a homepage,but of course without flash-content just pure HTML and scripts.

I used Macromedia (flash,fireworks) and php and html
if you want eyecandy and simple you can whip one up in flash in less than an hour or so.
want an orderly one then get yerself a host that allows php scripting and have at it

Reading all these posts is slowly convincing me to learn flash.
My site needs a more professional look anyway, guess I'll have to.
Fontpage just isn't enough right?
