  1. #1
With people getting busted by the MP/RIAA on BitTorrent, how much safer is it when using quality private trackers??

You're safe if you're not owner

If you have the option in your bittorrent client, encrypt your connection

Yep good old Canada, I hear the UK is pretty good aswell.
Just remember nothing is going to be 100% safe. Private trackers are much safer than public ones for the obvious reason. Not every average Joe can get into them.
Gee, Brain what do you want to do tonight?
The same thing we do every night Pinky. Try to take over the world!

Ya but they can come here and get invites. Stick arround for 30 dayz begg a few low level trackers..The first thing I torrented a few years back on isoHunt I got a copyright notice and it was for a TV show..I replied that there was no notice in the opening of the show stating that one could not record or anything for that matter. I did not pay for the download nor am I selling it..Never heard back.. But thats was just for a TV show not movie or music...So 3 years later no notice. knock on wood.. So I say that it's fairly safe. The owners take the most risk...

Stick to trackers that have a small user base and are hard to get into- this means lowest risk of shutdown and investigation; ie, FTN/ScT/bitmetv/etc...
