or just a little thing i learned

    1) Go to Start, then Run and type in services.msc Click Ok

    2) Scroll to Messenger, select it, right click it and choose Properties.

3)Under startup choose "Disabled", then choose Stop.

    4) When stopped, click Ok.

Now the messenger popups are disabled and no need to downlaod anything

To my knowledge there is no support for the NT/2000/XP messenger service in windows 95/98/ME so the forementioned program will not ork properly on those operating system. Windows 95/98/ME systems will not give you these messenger popups. And as a tip from a programmer in many languages but emplyed as a security advisor at a small company, you guys should get yourselves a simple firewall. Even zonealarm would do http://www.zonelabs.com, this is FREE if you choose the normal version.
