Longhorn 4008

i recently downloaded longhorn_usa_4008_x86fre_procd1.iso from the verified hashes section. when i go to install it, there is an error during the WinPE part of the install. its just says "An error occured while copying files." has anyone else had this problem? i am installing it from windows xp pro, dont think i have sp1 yet. if anyone knows how to fix this, that would be great. thanks
