hey where can i get the cheapest modd chip for my ps2 in toronto? how much do they cost and can i install them my self?

Hi, you have a ps2 or a pstwo ? A fat one or the new slim model? Mod-chip isin't the best way to play backups. The only advantage of ps2 mod-chip is : psx backup, full compatibility and working on pstwo (slim) Mod-chips are relatively expensive and hard to install.. I strongly suggest you to use HDDloader (free-version) with a HDD of course. According that you have a fat ps2. good luck.

I use HDloader too, it's nice to copy games to the hd
If you were in Vancouver, I have a friend who could mod pretty cheap. But rather than mod, I think the HD method is the way to go. There's a new HDLoader out, plus there's HDadvance

I have 2 spare Mars2 mod chips available I can get rid of pretty cheap. I do not know if it will work on the slim ps2
